Caorle, situated on the Upper Adriatic Sea, inhabited all year round and facing the sea, is a town rich in history and traditions.

You’ll find the fishing port by the main street that goes straight into town: Caorle also carries traditions of fishermen and fresh fish, the main ingredient for the best culinary recipes in the area.

Right by the port you’ll find the typical historic center that has become a pedestrian zone, with many lanes and squares, recalling the Venetian Style; you can explore all of this whether you want to enjoy a pleasant and relaxing walk or just go shopping. You can also visit the Dome of the X Century, with its frescoes supposedly attributed to the Templars and the unique round steeple of the XI century or the annexed museum and the church which is located on the beach – the Sanctuary of the Madonnina dell’ Angelo, who is considered to be the protector of the city and to whom the inhabitants of Caorle are very devout,

The historical center is surrounded by 7 km of seashore with a stretch that features a gallery of sculptures in the open air thanks to famous artists from all over the world, who meet every year in order to participate in the event called “Scogliera Viva” (“Living Rocks”).

Let’s not also forget about the beautiful lagoon! Small and large islands covered in green and bathed by the salty waters, they are all open to the public every day and can be reached by boat for you to be able to explore their unique flora and fauna.

Moreover, the many km of bike trail will be a delight to you while you’re trying to make your way inland.
